- Door compartments are characterised by less constant temperatures as we open and close the fridge, so it's best for storing products which are not easily perishable, such as condiments and sauces, making it unsuitable for eggs, which should be placed on the middle shelf, together with cooked and frozen foods and charcuterie products.
- The lower part is colder, making it perfect for storing meat and fish.
- The bottom compartments are specifically designed for storing fruit and vegetables. It is important not to over-fill your fridge as this compromises food preservation.

Leftovers can become the star ingredients of fantastic day-after recipes. Which is why they need to be impeccably stored, just like all fresh products. After cooking, leftovers should only be placed in the fridge after cooking, inside protective packaging: glass, terracotta or hard plastic - there are many excellent alternatives to clingfilm out there. These containers are reusable and safer, thanks to an airtight seal. Remember, leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3-5 days. Opt for the freezer for longer conservation times.
